Carlos Montijo

In 2008, Carlos Montijo, raised a Roman Catholic, was saved from God's wrath and came out of the Church of Rome. After some turbulent years of King James Onlyism, cult-like groups, and lukewarm churches, God used faithful local churches, ministries, and men such as Gordon Clark and John Robbins, The Trinity Foundation; the Puritans and Reformers, Chapel Library; James White; and EX Ministries to bring balance and sound doctrine to his life, including the historic truths of the Christian church and the Protestant Reformation. His love for the Word of God, apologetics, and church history led to the start of the Semper Reformanda Radio podcast. Carlos is a software engineer, married to the woman of his dreams, and has five amazing kids. He is a founding member and ordained bivocational pastor of ThornCrown Covenant Baptist Church.

David Callendine

David Callendine and his wife were one of the first to suggest planting ThornCrown Covenant Baptist Church. They are a wise, mature, and godly couple, a model example to the flock, and both have been serving the church lovingly and faithfully, in spite of having to commute long hours. David is also a founding member and ordained bivocational pastor of ThornCrown Covenant Baptist Church. He leads our Lord's Day services and prepares our worship music and church bulletins.
